About Greggs Apprenticeships
Greggs offer a retail Apprenticeship at two different levels. Depending on your previous experience you can either do a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.

As a Level 2 apprentice in retail, you’ll be passionate about pursuing a career in retail with the UK’s leading takeout bakery. You don’t need any qualifications, just the determination to succeed and offer excellent customer service skills. You’ll also need to be able to work as part of a team, good organisational skills and effective communication skills.
Your training provided by Greggs includes:
Level 2 Retail Qualification
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths
Internal Greggs training programmes
During this Apprenticeship, you’ll gain the skills required to succeed in the retail industry and can also offer you a career path into Greggs’ junior retail management positions.
The 12 month Level 3 retail Apprenticeship with Greggs is aimed at candidates who have evidence to support their experience of team leading previously, whether that’s academically or previous role related. GCSE’s grade D and above (or equivalent) is preferable but not essential as long as you’re self-motivated, ambitious and driven to lead your team that’s all that matters.
This Apprenticeship is a career path into Supervisor/Assistant Manager roles. You’ll need to be IT literate, have excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
